Peter leads AWEA's public affairs department and provides strategic communications advice to the wind energy industry, overseeing staff and contractors who carry out media relations, publications, social media, and advocacy advertising. He was previously principal of RenewComm, LLC, a public relations firm for clean energy companies and non-profits. Peter has been the top communications staff member for the League of Conservation Voters, National Environmental Trust, and American Rivers, and was a senior account executive at Fenton Communications. He began his career as a newspaper reporter. Peter holds a B.A. in Government from Harvard University.
