AWEA is pleased to announce the 2012 Sponsorship Program covering all of the year's events including WINDPOWER® 2012 and all of the Educational Workshops!


Make sure the thousands of yearly AWEA event attendees know your company and hear your message by exhibiting, sponsoring and supporting the interests of the wind industry ... your industry. As the national trade association for the wind industry, the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) strives to create and deliver educational events that capture the energy of the rapidly expanding wind market. The events offer companies an opportunity to demonstrate their value to the wind industry, while offering attendees opportunities to learn and network. The revenue generated from these events is used to advance wind industry policy and promotion, to represent the wind industry in renewable energy legislation, and to communicate the benefits of wind energy to all.

How does the program work?

1. Simply download and read through the Sponsorship Program Brochure (PDF, 303KB) to determine the level of recognition your company would like to receive.


2. Review the Sponsorship Opportunities (PDF, 6.3MB) list to select the item(s) you wish to sponsor. Add up the dollar amount for each event and the total dollar figure will determine your sponsorship level and corresponding recognition.


3. Return the completed Sponsorship Reservation Form and return to AWEA with the 50% required deposit to reserve your sponsorship items.

Sponsorship Terms & Conditions

To be a sponsor, you must be a current AWEA Business Member in good standing.


AWEA will be responsible for the planning, production and on-site supervision of all sponsored events.


AWEA has last approval on all copy materials and reserves the right to require changes to ad copy.


Sponsorships are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. AWEA cannot guarantee that competitors won't be co-sponsors.


All payments received are non-refundable. AWEA reserves the right to re-sell sponsorship for non-payment by above deadlines.


High resolution logos are required in 4-color and black & white versions in .eps and .jpg formats. If suitable logos are not submitted then company name will be used as replacement. Color logos will be used whenever possible, however AWEA reserves the right to use black & white logos in certain circumstances.
